Join Us in the Race to Cure Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. All proceeds will fund research for a cure for Duchenne, the most common fatal genetic disorder diagnosed during childhood. Duchenne is a progressive disease that slowly causes complete loss of muscle function and affects 1 in 3,500 boys. There currently is no cure but there is hope with increased funding for research.
The first annual Five @ Five 5k on September 23rd, 2010 was a huge success with 388 registered participants and over $32,000 raised to fund research for a treatment or cure for Duchenne. We hope you will join us again this year.
