Scientific Advisor
Brian Tseng, MD, PhD  Director, Pediatric Neuromuscular Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital
Assistant Professor, Harvard Medical School

With an MD/PhD background, Dr. Tseng is a physician-scientist working to find better treatments and better care for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.  He is a board-certified pediatric neurologist with neuromuscular interest.  Dr. Tseng earned his MD and PhD from the University of Texas Medical School.  He completed his residency in Pediatrics at the University of Colorado, The Children's Hospital and in Child Neurology at the University of California San Francisco.  He runs the Brian Tseng Muscular Dystrophy Research Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Board of Directors Michael and Pamela Lee (Founders)

Foundation for a Future was founded by Michael and Pamela Lee in 2009 after their son Christopher was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.  They are the parents of three children, Connor, Gracie and Christopher.

Michael works in commercial real estate. He has a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School of Government, a Master of International Management (MBA) from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University. 
    Pamela works in marketing communications. She has lived and worked in Uruguay, Mexico, Spain and Brazil. Pamela has a Master of International Management (MBA) from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of San Diego.

Rebecca Kierein, MD

Rebecca has worked at the Boulder Medical Center in Louisville, Colorado for the last eleven years as a board certified family practice physician. She attended medical school at the University of Colorado Health Science Center and completed a residency program in family medicine. Rebecca graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in business.

Kathryn Young, PhDKathryn was co-founder of the ENVI remote sensing software for use in multispectral, hyperspectral and radar image processing and analysis. ENVI sold to Kodak, then to ITT. She was co-founder of Analytical Imaging and Geophysics (AIG) where she performed analyses for mineral exploration for clients and taught remote sensing short courses. Kathryn has a PhD in Geophysics from the University of Colorado and a BS in Geophysical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. Edward M. Lee

Ted Lee has extensive experience as a technology sales and marketing executive. He has served as an advisor to Annuity Systems since its inception and joined as a partner and President in 2008. Leveraging his experience in selling software, hardware and services for Fortune 1000 corporations, Ted has focused his career on customer-driven results through solution sales. Ted graduated with honors from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Government, International Relations.
